Who is the ATMA?
The ATMA exists to promote the welfare and professional development of its members and, to represent its members' special interests and needs. Because of its niche in the accountancy market, it is the organisation with grass roots contact with their members.
The Association of Taxation and Management Accountants (ATMA) ABN 32 002 876 208 is a Recognised Tax Agent Association (RTAA), which exists to promote the welfare and professional development of its members and to represent members' special interests and needs in Australia and Overseas. Because of its niche in the accountancy market, it is the organisation with the grassroots contact with members.
Since 2000 the ATMA was a Recognised Professional Association (RPA) of accountants before the Tax Agents Services Act 2009 (TASA) was introduced in 2010. The ATMA became a Recognised Tax Agent Association (RTAA) in June 2010.
