Fee Structure

CBK Membership Fee Structure 2012

Membership of CBK Inc runs from 01 July to 30 June and is renewable annualy.

The Application fee is a once of flat fee (GST inclusive) irrespective of the level at which you join and is non refundable.

Example Calculation of Fees Payable when you apply to join CBK.

If you are a Registered BAS Agent (BASA) and wish to join a Professional Association of Bookkeepers.

CBK Inc fees for a Registered BAS Agent are as follows:

You must join the CBK Inc at the Certified Bookkeeper level of Membership. This is the Practitioner level of Membership.

You must pay an Application Fee of $55 (which is not refundable). $165 pa as a Certified Bookkeeper and $115 for a CBK Public Practice Certificate (PPC).

This is a total of $335 in the first year. Assuming fees stay the same your total renewal fee on the 1st July each would would be $280 ($335 - $55 joining fee in the first year).

CBK Inc Membership Fees run from 1st July - 30th June and are renewable annually.

When joining during the year all annual subscription Fees (excluding $55 application Fee) are prorated.

NOTE: You must be a Registered BAS Agent or hold a Certificate IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping to join at the Certified Bookkeeper (CBK) level of membership.

If applying for a Public Practice Certificate, you will be required to complete a one day CBK Inc. Bookkeepers Public Practice Certificate Workshop.

If you have obtained Transitional Registration as a BAS Agent under the requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) we will allow you Transitional Membership until you have obtained the educational qualifications reguired by the TPB.
