Representation, Research and policy

Recognised Tax Agent Association (RTAA)

We are a RTAA and this helps increase your eligibility for registrations as a tax agent or BAS Agent through your membership with us.

Voting Eligibility

Membership with the ATMA means you are a voting member and you can have your say on the decisions and direction of the ATMA. It also ensures that you are a voting member in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009. Please note that a retired member of the ATMA is not a voting member. (Please refer to our By-Laws for more information on other membership levels that do not fall in the voting category).

Use your post-nominals to identify your status to clients and the general public. Your membership with the ATMA recognises you as an accounting and taxation expert with knowledge and expertise to provide professional advice and services.
